Due to Heavy Rainfall three are dead in hyderabad

Overwhelming rainfall and water logging have prompted the passing of three people in hyderabad, including an eight-month old kid, as huged rainfall as lashed the city on Monday

evening. While a kid and his dad died in a wall collapse, another man was shocked to death.

As indicated by the SHO of the Banjara Hills Police Station, 35 year-old Yadulu and his eight-month-old kid died after a wall fallen on them because of overwhelming railfall while they were sleeping. The bodies were recouped and sent for a dissection.
In another occurrence, a 35-year-old individual got shocked and died in the wake of touching the trolley which interacted with an electric wire. He died on the spot. The storm prompted the downpour of a few low-lying zones and traffic moved at a snail’s pace because of water-logging at better places in the city.

GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy has advised people to venture out as per the rain updates on Met department website. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who spoke to GHMC Commissioner and the city police commissioner, urged the official machinery to be on alert throughout the night, a release from Rao’s office said.
He directed the officials to take up relief works and respond to problems wherever they occurred, it said. Meanwhile, Hyderabad Police Commissioner M Mahendar Reddy said the police force has been asked to remain alert following the heavy rains.
In view of heavy rains, the entire force of the Hyderabad City Police including force from law and order police stations, traffic police stations, Task Force, Armed Reserve, Home Guards, Special Branch and other wings have been alerted to be in readiness,” a release from the CP office said tonight.
Hyderabad, however, did not see rainfall as high as Mumbai saw last month. Earlier too on August 29, Mumbai received 331 mm rainfall in 24 hours, paralysing normal life in the metropolis.
