A 22 year aged boy of Kolkata was arrested for cheating many persons in the name of Aircel lottery on Friday. Charanjit Das told the people that he had won Rs.45 laakhs in a lottery and asked them some amount to pay for various charges.
One lady by name Jameela Begum deposited Rs five lakhs in his account and later realised that she was cheated on her complaint, the police found that Das had cheated hundreds of people in the same way,hence he was taken into custody.
