After the murder of AP MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao and ex political leader Siveri Soma by Maoists, the Union Government has chosen to expand the security to Chandrababu Naidu and the CMs of other Maoist-hit states. In front of 2019 general elections, the Center has chosen to overhaul the NSG (National Securty Guard) commandos to SPG (Special Protection Group).

UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Chattisgarh CM Raman Singh, BJP national pioneer LK Advani, who are in Z-in addition to classification security and are in maoist-hit list, got greater security. The Center has chosen to build the ‘Dark Cats’ commandos for the said pioneers and furthermore requested to use the NSGs, SPGs ideally.

Since general decisions are quick drawing closer, the Center wouldn’t like to take any risks with Maoists that could influence the political issues radically. Notwithstanding, expanding security for AP CM Chandrababu has picked up centrality given that Naidu has finished his political fellowship with BJP and is taking up arms with them.

Prior, Naidu was assaulted by Maoists in October 2003 at Alipiri of Tirupati. At that point CM Chandrababu had survived the landmine impact by Maoists and he has been in the hit-rundown of Maoists. TDP pioneers are respecting Center’s turn to build security to Naidu.
