Caustic comments of Mr. Naidu on piligrims

Mr.Naidu, CM of AP said that the income of temples in AP have gone up 27% in a year. He attributed it to “growing sins and increased troubles” of the people  is the cause for piligrims to go to temples. He added that in the absence of temples, churches and mosques people turn mad.

During his inaugeral address at the two day conference of collectors, he made caustic remarks on the piligrims refereing to the “growing sins and increasing troubles ” of the people who committ sins. Some people may face troubles, in order to get rid of them they visit temples, some people commit sins for which they offer money.

It is a fact. During Ayyappa deeksha, they gave up drinking of liquor which has brought down the income to the ex-chequer in the same period.
