Employees of AP secretariat and heads of department who go to New Capital from Hyderabad will get 30% HRA. The AP government issued orders on Tuesday implementing assurances given to employees for shifting to the capital area.
We know that the government has reduced working days from six to five days a week for those who go to Amaravathi. As per the existing pattern, the secretariat and head of the deparments, employees of Hyderabad are getting 30% HRA. So the employees requested the government to continue the same HRA for the employees who migrate from Hyderabad to the New Capital Amaravathi.
As per the orders of the government those who shift to the New Capital will continue to draw the existing HRA @ of 30% of their basic subject to a maximum of Rs 20,000 P.M. for one year only. But the orders do not mention from which date the new orders come into force.
