SCS is not easy for TDP: BJP leader Purandeswari

Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader, former union minister, D. Purandeswari has expressed that it was not much easier to get special status to Andhra Pradesh.

She further added that AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu need to convince at least 13 states for getting special states, otherwise it is not that much simple the TDP is expecting. Many states were already seeking special status and the issue was pending before centre for decades, the BJP leader, who was also close relative to Naidu, said.

The BJP leader said if Naidu gets an acceptance letters from 13 state CMs, centre will consider the demand and accord special status immediately. She said the union government was already extended all kinds of support to the residuary state of Andhra Pradesh including establishment of high educational institutions and increased financial assistance for infrastructure development.
