Rio Silver medalist, Shuttler PV Sindhu offered prayers to Goddess Mahankali at Laldarwaja temple in old city here on today. She carried bonam and went to the temple in a procession.
Temple priests welcomed Sindhu and her family and led the special pooja on behalf of the shuttler. Later on Sindhu speak to media that “I offer bonum to ammavaru every year.” Before going to Olympics I told myself that If I win a medal at Rio Olympcs, I will come again to offer bonam. After my best performance at Olympics, I am here to offer bonam, she added further.
