Senior Congress leader DK Aruna has resigned from the Telangana Assembly by protesting over the TRS Government denied to announce Gadwal district only because of she is representing in Assembly from Gadwal constituency.
Hence, she has sent her resignation to the Chief Minister and asking him to forward her resignation letter to the Speaker. DK Aruna, who has been spearheading a movement for Gadwal district has said that the people of Gadwal want a separate district she has been conducted several padayatras and dharnas for achieving the demand. But, KCR has not responded to the demand. Thus, she decided to resign.
