The Anti-Corruption Bureau in Hyderabad on Monday arrested Sandra Venkata Veeriah, Telangana TDP MLA in the cash-for-vote scam.
He is the fourth person to be arrested so far in this case. Sandra Veeriah, who represents Sattupalli constituency, had earlier sought more time to attend the ACB’s investigation citing ill-health. The ACB recently sent fresh notices to him asking to appear before it on July.
After grilling him for seven hours, the ACB officials arrested the TDP MLA.
