Some days ago Telangana Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao gave a task of Distributing Bathukamma sarees to MP K.Kavitha and the distribution of Bathukamma sarees is good to go to start crosswise over Telangana State from today.
According to the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, about 1.04 crore sarees will be circulated to qualified ladies over the State denoting the festival of Bathukamma celebrations. Sarees will be dispersed from September 18 to 20. Around 1,04,47,610 sarees worth Rs. 222 crore will be conveyed to qualified ladies.
Of the aggregate, around 52 lakh sarees were obtained from Telangana weavers. Because of deficiency of time, the rest of the sarees were acquired from Surat and different urban areas prominent for textile businesses. To get all sarees from Telangana weavers, starting from one year from now.
Bathukamma sarees arrange from the government gave work to more than two and half months to weavers in Sircilla giving business of over Rs 70 crore. Sarees in more than 500 plans and colors, have just achieved the distribution centres. About 7.5 crore meters of material was used for the reason.
women authorities from the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office took extraordinary care in choosing designs, colors and nature of sarees to suite the tastes of ladies over the State. Chief of Textiles Sailaja Ramaiyyer drove group of authorities have obtained the sarees and guaranteed their transportation to assigned distribution centres.
Each women aged 18 years or more, hailing from a family holding white ration card, is qualified to get Bathukamma saree. Telangana Distict Collectors have provided distribution centres in both villages and towns .
But in some locations the womens are expressing their dissatisfaction over the poor quality of sarees in Chelgal of Jagityal district, the women burnt them. Even the women in Bhongir too are reported to have thrown the sarees on the road and played Bathukamma around them.
The women stated that after being promised Gadwal sarees, they were handed over Rs 100 sarees. Let us wait and see the reation of Telangana CM K.Chandrashekar Rao and this …
