Proceeding with its series of wins after the Assembly polls, TRS cleared the first session of Panchayat surveys in the state. The primary stage recorded 87.56% surveying in which the TRS’ upheld applicants packed away 2446 seats while the Congress supporters was confined to 829 seats, TDP supporters won 59 seats while the CPI and CPM won 17 and 29 individually. In the interim, independents won 671 seats.

In the mean time, race in 769 panchayats was pronounced consistent and the surveying for the second and third stage is planned for January 25th and January 30th, individually. Following the declaration of results, chose open agents including sarpanches and warm individuals chose the delegate sarpanches.

Indeed, even as surveying was in progress, Telangana Election Watch raised an issue about how there was an impulse for a few possibility to give in into the rulling party applicant and surrender their assignment, while choosing the decision party hopeful consistently. The post is being unloaded at a cost.

A few town level advisory groups are applying weight on different possibility for unanimity, the association expressed. The State Government’s declaration of giving Rs. 10 lakh for panchayats where an applicant will be picked collectively has been abused, Telangana Election Watch announced.
