Angry at not being invited for the Independence Day celebrations at the YSR Congress Party office in Karimnagar, a woman leader beat up the Party district president with slippers.
The woman leader, Susheela, beat up Karimnagar District YSRCP President Singireddy Bhaskar Reddy, accusing him of not inviting her for the Independence Day celebrations.
Initially Singireddy tried to counter the woman by holding her hands. However, another party worker thrashed him for the act and tore his shirt.
The angry woman leader continued abusing the party president and threw chappals at him. The fight continued till a few others intervened and pacified both
