All opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh are supporting the State wide bandh called by Opposition leader, YSRCP Chief YS Jagan against Centre’s denial of special category status to the state.
The Congress, the Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India-Marxist and forum for achieving special status have now joined the YSRCP’s bandh call for a statewide shutdown on September 10. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy appealed to the people to participate voluntarily in the state wide bandh to convey their strong sentiments to the state and the central government over the demand for Special Status to AP. The opposition parties and other groups staged protests across the state over betrayal of the people by the TDP-led state government and the BJP led NDA government at the Centre.
