YSRCP MLAs demand discussion over SCS Opposition YSR Congress Party MLAs are continued their protest at the speaker podium during the opening hours and insisting on a discussion on the special status.
The YSRCP’s MLAs raised slogans against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and condemned the Special Financial Assistance announced by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. They demanded that speaker should allow the house for a discussion on the Special Status issue before the regular business of the House. Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao refused to permit any discussion then YSRCP legislators continued their protest and went to the podium of the Speaker.
However, Marshals prevented the legislators from laying a siege to the speaker’s podium. YSRCP MLAs are also reached the Assembly in black shirts to register their protests against the centre’s decision to grant only financial assistance and not special status.
