Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao has gone a step further by offering his one of his kidneys to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj .Earlier, Sushmaji shared news about her kidney failure and hospitalisation at the All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences on her twitter account, there was a torrent of sympathy for her.
The Lok Sabha Member from Narasaraopet in Andhra Pradesh offered one of his kidneys for transplantation. He expressed his willingness in addressing a letter to External Minister. “Madam, I shall be very grateful if you could kindly accept my offer of donation of my kidney to you for transplant,” he said in the letter.Mr. Rao told media hat he had known Sushma Swaraj for over a decade and felt that it was the least he could do under the circumstances. The doctors have advised her transplant, if I can be of use, it would be good. I don’t know whether there would be a match of kidneys,” he said.
