CM Jagan takes serious action against criminal who allegedly molested six year old

AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered Director General of Police (DGP) Gautham Sawang and District Collector to take action against the criminal who raped a six year old at Pedagarlapadu village of Dachepalli mandal in Guntur district. CM Jagan instructed the police and the authorities to act harshly without causing such incidents elsewhere in the state.

A six-year-old was allegedly molested by an ITI student at Pedagarlapadu village in Dachepalli mandal. The incident led to some tension in the area as the victim’s relatives tried to stage a protest. The accused, who claims to be a minor, tried to rape the girl who lived in the neighbouring house. He took the girl inside his home, while playing with her. When the family heard the girl’s screams, they rushed to her rescue. Later, they filed a complaint with Dachepalli police against the accused, Narendar Reddy. The cops shifted the girl to Narasaraopet for medical examination.

Home Minister Sucharitha said the incident had taken place within 24 hours of the incident. We have ordered the authorities to take legal action. The victim is currently recovering in hospital on behalf of the government. State Women’s Commission Chairperson Vasireddy Padma, who visited the family of a girl. Women commission chairperson Padma visited a six-year-old girl who was admitted to the Narasaraopet government hospital. She told reporters that she had spoken to District Collector Samuel Anand Kumar about the incident. The Mahila Commission is taking the initiative to ensure full assistance from the government to the victims. When the police report is received, the family will initially receive a certain amount of financial assistance.
