The Telangana transport department decides to cancell permits to auto rikshaw drivers from May 16th, if they fail to install regulation fare metres, ply without the license.
It is also reported unfair charges are collected from the passengers and accomodate more passengers. One month time is given to auto drivers to fall in line with governments regulations.
The Passengers have to pay that amount based on digitally calaculated distance. The licenses of the auto drivers will also be cancelled who enter the city from the suburban areas if they fail to abide the rules.
