The first woman nominee from a major party in the history of Presidential elections in the US, Hillary Clinton, has expressed her willingness to take on her Republican rival Donald Trump, at an address on the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention.

Hillary described Trump as someone lacking sense of responsibility and level of trust; as she said “a man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons”, appealing voters to exercise their choice wisely in the November election.

Mrs Clinton also touched upon the milestone of hers, saying “Standing here as my mother’s daughter, and my daughter’s mother, I’m so happy this day has come,” referring to herself securing the nomination.
