According to the sources, more than 200 girls have been killed for refusing to become sex slaves by the Islamic state. The girls were forced to marry the terrorists on temperory basis. As they refused to do so, they were brutally killed. In some cases the members of the families were also executed for rejecting the ISIS proposal.
An official from the patriotic union of Kurdistan Mr. Ghayaas Surchi stated that the human rights were being violated in all IS held teritories. Mr. Surchi stated that women were not allowed to go out lonely in Mosul nor can they choose their life partners.
The killings of women followed a spate of similar killings where more than 15 women were killed under sexual harrasement. It is reported that nearly 450 yazidi women and girls were kidnapped and sexually abused in last two years.
