Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Announced inter-state e-way bill From February 1

The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council on Saturday endorsed the inter-state e-way charge consistence, to be successful from Februray 1, and necessary intra-state e-way charge consistence compelling June 1.
According to the Finance Ministry sources, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council affirmed e-way charge execution roadmap in its 24th meeting led by the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley by means of video conferencing .
States are reported to have raised concerns about tax evasion under GST in absence of a proper e-way bill system, resulting in the hurriedly called meeting which was earlier supposed to be held in January, two officials said.
The officials added that the work on the technology system for e-way bill has gathered momentum in last 20 days to ensure that it’s rolled out from January 1. The decision regarding the rollout date would be taken in the meeting, they said.
Restoration of reverse charge mechanism and invoice matching are also expected to come up for discussion in the meeting, they said.
The e-way charge framework will be prepared by January 16 for trial runs and the states which are prepared, may take off inter-state, intra state e-way charge from February 1, included sources. E-way bills would help India’s coordinations biological community and will prompt a lessening in estimating of road cargo.
E-way bill will require online enlistment for development of products worth more than Rs. 50,000, facilitating the development of cargo further, and get more straightforwardness in the entire procedure.
Prior in October, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council in its 22nd meeting had prescribed that the e-way charge framework ought to be taken off in stunned way from January 2018 and should be across the nation powerful April 2018 .
