After Stalin, AR Murugadoss will direct his straight Telugu film with Mahesh Babu. Like all his previous films, this film also deals with a social issue. But it is said that this film is not especially written for the Super Star.

From a long time Murugadoss is working with Gopichand Malineni and Dil Raju to write a script. They planned to make a film with Jr.NTR with the story written by Murugadoss and the film directed by Gopichand as Dil Raju had NTR’s dates. But when they narrated the script to NTR, he  didn’t accept it as he didn’t want to make message-oriented films like ‘Rakhi’ and ‘Naaga’ which have failed at the box-office. So they approached Mahesh for the film as Murugadoss always wanted to work with him.

Mahesh readily accepted this script but with a clause that Murugadoss should direct this as he is an expert in making message-oriented films. This project is likely to go on floors once Mahesh completes the shooting of ‘Brahmotsavam’.

Reports are that Mahesh, Dil Raju and Murugadoss might jointly produce the film.

EC registers Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena

0

The Telangana State Election Commission on Wednesday registered actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party as an authorised political party. The Telangana State Election Commission hereby registers the Janasena Party as a political party without a reserved symbol.

The registration shall not entitle the party for reservation of any exclusive symbol for it. However, the candidates duly set up by this party in local body elections (held on party basis) will be entitled to preferential treatment over independent candidates in allotment of free symbols, the Commission said in its order.

With the registration, the party can now field candidates in the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls, expected to be held this year.

Pawan Kalyan, younger brother of Telugu superstar and former Union Minister Chiranjeevi, announced the formation of Janasena ahead of last year’s general elections.

His vigorous campaign in support of TDP-BJP combine in the elections is believed to be one of the major reasons for its success at the hustings.

Pawan Kalyan, a top-ranking Telugu hero himself, has a huge following in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. His party’s entry could affect the political dynamics if it chooses to contest the GHMC polls which are seen as the big test for the TRS government’s popularity.

Sreenu Vytla to sell his house?

0

With back-to-back disasters like ‘Bruce Lee’ and ‘Aagadu’, Sreenu Vytla is under severe pressure. He is recently in the news for the complaint against him from his wife on harassment. Now, the talk is that Vytla is going to change his house as he thinks that the new house is unlucky for him.

Vytla recently moved into his new bungalow but from then on he scored only flops which damaged his image. He was reportedly warned about not moving into that area as it is said to be of bad Vaastu. In the past, RR Venkat, who produced many films, ran into economic problems and got out of production.

So Vytla is now planning to sell his house. But if his films became hits then the sentiment would have been different for sure as luck lies in hard work but not in the house.

What will Nani do now?

0

Natural hero Nani is on Cloud Nine these days because of the huge success of his recent film ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’. This actor has now entered the big league and is picking and choosing his scripts very carefully as he doesn’t want to repeat the mistake he had done before.

Earlier Nani gained good name for his films like ‘Ala Modalaindi’ and ‘Pilla Zamidar’. Then he became very famous with ‘Eega’ where he had but a small role. After that, he had some huge disasters like ‘Paisa’, ‘Aaha Kalyanam’ and ‘Janda Pai Kapiraju’. Though some films like ‘Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu’ and ‘Evade Subramanyam’ got positive reports, they were not commercially successful. Now he is back on the success track with ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’ and this film is now labeled ‘Baahubali’  of small films. This also helped in making Nani popular in overseas and upped his market.

Due to this, Nani is becoming so cautious on script selection. Hope that Nani makes successful films and become an image-free hero. Will he cash on this film’s success? Or again make the same mistake?
