At Last Parliament Speaker Approved YCP Resignations

At last, after more than over two months after the fact, Parliament Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has acknowledged the acquiescences of the five YSRCP MPs. The Speaker’s office has issued an official notice affirming the same.

In an offer to pick up AP individuals’ trust for their unsettling for the Special Category Status and satisfaction of the guarantees made to the state amid bifurcation, YSRCP MPs Mekapati Rajamohanreddy, YV Subbareddy, Mithun Reddy, V Varaprasad Rao and YS Avinash Reddy offered their abdication on April 6.

However, the Speaker kept the acquiescences on hold, which prompted various political mudslinging from the resistance pioneers. The surrendered MPs met with the Speaker twice and asked for her to acknowledge their resignations.

Even however the acquiescences have been acknowledged, there is zero chance of a by-race since the Election Commission won’t hold a race inside multi year according to the Section 151A in The Representation of the People Act, 1951.
