The Chennai police claimed to have busted a high profile sex racket at the famous ECR and OMR IT Hubs.
Acting on a tip off, the police conducted raids and arrested a television artist for trapping 5 girls hailing from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Mumbai.
They rescued the girls have been sent to rescue homes.
It is being said that the five girls were in Chennai for film shooting but they were trapped by a television artist and forced them into prostitution. The tv artist used to lure young girls from other cities and trap them in the business. A case has been lodged in the matter, a source said.
