No, it’s not a scene from any film. Bollywood’s action hero Akshay Kumar was recently spotted polishing shoes at the Gurdwara in real.
Well, it has been learnt that the actor had a long-term wish of doing kar seva (offering service for a religious cause).
So, when he was shooting for his upcoming film ‘Singh is Bliing’ near a gurdwara, he made use of the opportunity to fulfill his wish by polishing shoes of the devotees, according to a report in Mid-Day.com.
Akshay Kumar, one of the most successful Bollywood actors, didn’t throw any starry tantrums while polishing the shoes of the devotees at the gurdwara.
Akshay Kumar’s ‘Singh Is Bliing’ is slated for an October 2 release. Besides Akshay, the movie stars Amy Jackson, Lara Dutta and Kay Kay Menon in lead roles.
The actor’s another upcoming film ‘Brothers’ is scheduled to release on August 14. It also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Akshay Kumar is happily married to Twinkle Khanna and has two kids, Aarav and Nitara.
