Actress Anushka Sharma is leaving no stone unturned to prepare for her role in her upcoming film Sultan opposite superstar Salman Khan and has been prepping really for hard for the film.
Sultan, which is based on the life of a wrestler, will see its leading lady in a combat involving grapping and throwing her opponents in the wrestling ring.
Anushka, who has started shooting for the film, is going through intense training sessions and learning different wrestling techniques for her role.
In a video, released by Yash Raj Films, Anushka in a sporty avatar can be seen getting involved in a serious physical competition, applying grappling holds, joint locks and throwing her opponent from the shoulder twisting her competitors arm with takedowns.
Earlier, the film’s leading man Salman Khan was also seen involed in a similar manner training for wrestling and mixed martial arts with international action director Larnell Stovall. The film has created a lot of buzz in the industry even before its first poster release and has created more excitement among the fans after announcing its female lead in the film. Produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films banner, Sultan is slated to hit the screens on Eid in 2016.
