Ban On Mohanlal As a Chief Guest For Kerala Film Awards

More than 100 individuals, including individuals from the film industry, have kept in touch with the Kerala government that Malayalam star actor Mohanlal ought not be welcomed as the Chief Guest to the yearly state film awards to be held here in August.

The performer is confronting the anger of the Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) for disavowing blamed on-screen character Dileep’s enrollment for the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA).

Dileep is a blamed in the 2017 capturing for an on-screen character. On Monday, 107 individuals from different strolls of life, including journalists, stood firm against Mohanlal.

The individuals who composed the letter to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Culture Minister A.K. Balan included award winning performer Prakash Raj, prominent writters N.S. Madhavan, Sethu and Sachidanandan, performing artist Rima Kallingal and Geethu Mohandas.
