The craze for ‘item songs’ in films is on the rise, even though not too long ago, the industry’s leading ladies considered it as a taboo. But now that producers are shelling out huge sums, actresses are agreeing. For just a four-day shoot, the remuneration is almost on par with that of the film’s heroine .

This time, for a Kannada motion picture. Tamanna has been reserved in for an special melody for a major spending Kannada film KGF where she would groove with young actor Yash.
Tamanna has been paid an extravagant sum for the special melody. It is learnt that Kannada would shake her legs to the well known vintage number “Jokae naanu balliya minchu” from late hotshot Dr. Rajkumar’s Paropakari (1970).
The melody is scheduled to shoot this week and after the song’s shoot, the film’s shoot is relied upon to arrive at an end. The film has been really taking shape for over multi year. It is a multilingual period film – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam separated from Kannada .
