Deepika Padukone will be seen again with Irrfan Khan who had earlier worked in Piku, for Vishal Bhardwaj’s untitled production. Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj said that the actress is a rare combination of a superstar and good actor at a screening of short film Kajal in Mumbai.
Coming to the film, Deepika will reportedly play Mafia Queen Rahima Khan, popularly known as Sapna Didi, while, her co-star Irrfan Khan will portray local gangster. He falls in love with her and helps her in every mission to eliminate Dawood Ibrahim.

The film will be directed by Honey Trehan who is a casting and Assistant director known for Omkara, Udta Punjab and Kaminey. The film is based on one of the chapters from S.Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai.
At present, Deepika is busy in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati shooting. For the first time, she will be working with Vishal Bhardwaj.
Vishal Bhardwaj said that he is more excited for his friend Honey Trehan. He is happy for the film under his production. The film will go on floors in January.
