Film Udta Punjab gets clearance with one cut

The Mumbai High Court has given clearence for the release of the film “Udta Punjab.” The makers of the film has approached the Mumbai HIgh court against CBFC because the film was censored with 89 cuts.

The Court heavily came down on the CBFC and advised the board not to act like a “grand mother” and change with times.  

The court has advised the CBFC to certify the film relating to drug theamed within two days and to be released on 17th  June. The makers of the film have agreed that they have no objection for one censor cut.
