Tollywood Young Tiger, Jr.NTR’s latest blockbuster ‘Janatha Garage’ has emerged the 3rd biggest commercial hit of Telugu cinema. It stands after Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ and Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’ interms of box office collection.
This is the first time in fifteen years, Nandamoori hero’s movies placed in the top-3 position with box office collection. This rare trend happened 15 years ago, in 2001, Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna’s ‘Narasimha Naidu’, ‘Samarasimha Reddy’ and young hero, Tarun’s romantic blockbuster ‘Nuvve Kavali’ were in Top 3. Later on, Mega family hero, Power star, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Kushi’ stood as Top 3 in April 2001.
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Indra’ placed in top position with all time industry hit in 2002. Now, all eyes are Megastar’s 150th film, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Katamarayudu’, Ram Charan’s ‘Dhruva’ and Bunny’s next film ‘DJ’. Mega fans hope that one of these four heroes’ films breaks the all the records with all time industry hits.
