Magadheera makers filed a case on ‘Raabta’ saying copyright infringement

Magadheera makers, the Geeta Arts have approached the court to file a case against Dinesh Vijan’s Bollywood film ‘Raabta’ starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon.

The film Magadheera that features Mega Power Star Ram Charan as the lead released in 2009 which directed by SS Rajamouli.The first trailer of Raabta was released, people reminded Rajamouli’s Magadheera. The concept shows that two estranged lovers meets in another life.Star Producer Allu Aravind who produced Magadheera under the banner of Geetha Arts contend that ‘Raabta’ film copied its unique story and plot line in violation of its copyright.

The Hyderabad court issued a notice and posted the matter to 1st June to decide whether the film must be permitted to release on 9th June.The film gained attention when actor Rajkumar Rao’s look was released online. Rajkumar is playing a cameo, and will be seen portraying the role of a 324 year old man in the film.
