In the wake of stowing the notorious Sridevi Award at Zee Apsara Awards, on-screen character Tamannaah Bhatia will get the pined for Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for her extraordinary performance in the blockbuster “Baahubali: The Beginning”. She played the role of Avanthika, a Warrior Princess in the first part of S. S. Rajamouli’s fictional epic film Baahubali.
The film received positive reviews from critics and Tamannaah was praised for her performance. The movie collected around (US$100 million) and eventually became the top grosser of Telugu cinema and third highest grossing Indian film. The award will likewise being given upon performer Anushka Sharma for her innings as a maker and on-screen character Ranveer Singh for “Padmaavat” by the Mumbai-construct Dadasaheb Phalke Foundation with respect to April 21 here.
