Priyanka Chopra on Delhi Pollution, prays for the homeless

Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is currently in the national capital for the shoot of her upcoming film The White Tiger, has voiced concern over the rising pollution levels in the city. Delhi is witnessing one of the worst episodes of pollution and smog. Pollution levels in Delhi peaked to a three-year high on Sunday as hundreds of distraught people took to social media to say they wanted to leave the city due to poor air quality.

As Priyanka shoots in the capital of our nation, she took to her Instagram handle and shared a selfie with a mask. She expressed how bad the situation has been in Delhi due to the rising air pollution and also prayed for the homeless who are helpless. She requested the Delhi people to take special care of themselves. She expressed how hard it is to shoot in such a polluted area and shared that the film’s production team is taking special care of the cast and crew by providing purifiers and masks.

The White Tiger, an adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s novel of the same name, is being produced by Netflix.
