Ram Gopal Varma posted on Twitter talking about Sivagami role,”I really wonder why Sridevi B Kapoor did not do Baahubali 2? What a super outstanding film it would have been for her illustrious career. If Sridevi B Kapoor did Baahubali 2 she would have gotten more credit than Prabhas it being he her very next film after English Vinglish.”
Well, everyone know that the filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is a die-hard fan of Sridevi. He revealed it several times and went on to say that she was India’s boon.
Ramya Krishna has gained immense applause for her compelling performance as ‘Rajamata Sivagami Devi’. Before Ramya Krishna, The filmmakers approached Sridevi through Raghavendra Rao for the Sivagami role.
Reportedly, the actress demanded Rs 6 crore for the role, while the role was given to Ramya Krishna who has charged Rs 2.5 crore for the same role. Ramya Krishna gave her best to the role. No one else can beat her in Sivagami role.
Earlier, Sridevi looked in the role of an evil princess in hero Vijay’s ‘Puli’, that became a disaster at the box office.
