Top Actress Facing threatening From Rajputs

Padavathivati, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming epic drama film, remains embroiled in controversy ahead of its release. Deepika Padukone, the lead actress, received threats yesterday from Rajput group Karni Sena triggering sharp reactions from several quarters.
The film featuring Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone depends on the epic ballad Padmavat by Malik Muhammad Jyasi. Ranveer Singh is viewed as Sultan Alauddin Khilji while Deepika is assuming the part of Rani Padmavati.
History says that Rani Padmavati submitted Jauhar (Self immolation) when Khilji raged Mevar to catch her.
With the bits of gossip spreading on Sanjay Leela Bhansali included close romantic scenes amongst Deepika and Ranveer Singh playing Padmavati and Khilji, controvery ejected with associations like Shri Rajput Karni Sena assaulting the film physically and verbally.
The Padmavati controversy took an ugly turn today when a fringe Rajasthan group called the Karni Sena threatened actor Deepika Padukone of physical harm.
Rajputs never raise a hand on women but if need be ,Presently Mahipal Singh Makarana, leader of the outfit’s Rajasthan Unit cautioned that he wouldn’t falter to slash off Deepika Padukone’s nose like Shurpanakha.
They turned incensed when Deepika assaulted those opposing the film marking the whole contention as shocking and relapsing. He even denounced that the fim Padmavathi was financed by the underworld .
The film Padmavati that is slated to release on December 1 stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. The movie has been embroiled in one controversy after other and the former royals of Jaipur are calling for a complete ban on the movie, stating that Sanjay Bhansali’s film shows queen Rani Padmini in bad light.
Earlier this week, its members went on the rampage in Kota destroying shops and vandalising the ticket window of a cinema hall that was screening a trailer of the film. It must be seen whether all these disputable decks will be cleared for Padmavati to discharge on Dec 1.
