To recall back, beautiful actress Sri Devi’s ‘Sadma’ movie brought her good fame and achieved Filmfare Best actress award. The movie was released in 1983 which was directed by Balu Mahendra. In this movie legendary actor Kamal Haasan and Sri Devi were played as major roles.
In this film, Sri Devi suffered with head injury in a car accident and losses her memory and became a childhood girl. She acted as a perfect child and closer to the audience with her innocent performance in this movie.
With her innocence in the movie trapped some men in brothel and hero saved from the rescue later he fell in love with Sri Devi.
Currently the film maker Lloyd Baptista is planning to do a remake of Sri Devi’s ‘Sadma’ movie. The film maker is thinking that who can perfectly acts like Sri Devi in the role for remake movie. Still he is searching for the lead roles in the ‘Sadma’ remake movie.
The film maker selected the beautiful actress Vidya Balan to play Sri Devi’s role for the remake movie. According to the film reports, “Vidya is one of the leading names on his list. They also met recently to discuss the movie.”
Actually actress Vidya Balan is a big fan to Sridevi so, she is very happy to play her role for the remake movie. The source also added that “She isn’t keen to take up the role right now. She feels that no one will be able to match Sridevi’s performance.”
Vidya Balan is well known to all with her super hit movies like ‘Parineeta’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Paa’, ‘Ishqiya’, ‘No One Killed Jessica’, ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Kahaani’.
For these movies, she got awards. Currently she is busy with three movies which are in filming and will be released in 2016. Vidya Balan is also searching to play for original movies.
