Boxing legend Md. Ali is no more

Boxing legend with a remarkable of thirty years Muhammad Ali has passed away on Friday.He is 74 years. He was admitted in a hospital in Phoenix, Arizona a week before as he is suffering from respiratory problem.

He won the “World Heavyweight Champion ” boxer award for three times. Ali was hospitalised many times from last few years.. 

Tributes were poured all over who was globally known for his sports and human activities. 

Ali was born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr in Louisville. He is banned from the sports for years as he refuesed to serve in the Vietnam War, soon after he converted into Islam and changed his name to Md.Ali in 1964. In stretch of his career from 1960-81 he won many awards and records.

He was honoured with the name of UN messenger of peace and also chosen to light the Olympic torch in 1996 in AtlantaHe received the highest US civillian honour, the Presidencial Medal of Freedom in 2005. 

Though he is sick from last few years he continued to speak and offer his opinions through his family members and spokes persons. In last December he rebuked Donald Trump’s statement on callling for a ban against Muslims entering the United states.

After a 32 year battle with Parkinson’s disease Muhammad Ali has pased away at the age of 74 spokesman BobGunnel said. 

“The three time World Heavy weight Chmpion boxer died this evening.” 

“Funeral arrangements for Ali would be announces on Saturday” – he added.
