Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states have reportedly decided to fight jointly against Karnataka and Maharastra for Krishna water. The Telugu states come forward to resolved water sharing on their own and exempted the Krishna river based states Karnataka and Maharastra in the issue.
The AP and Telangana governments took serious note of the Brijesh Kumar tribunal’s direction of water sharing issue is confined to AP and Telangana only after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. Officials of AP and Telangana engaged serious talks to counter the tribunal direction and fight the other two states. While, Karnataka and Maharastra claimed they got their own share in Krishna water and there is no need of re-allocation of water between four states.
