No less than 28 peopel died and nine harmed in Himachal Pradesh’s Rampur after a private transport fell into a gorge in the hill state on Thursday morning, police said. The transport was bearing 40 travelers when the accident happened.
Nearby organization hurried police and rescue personnel to the spot and a group of the National Disaster Response Force was on its way, said deputy commissioner of police Rohan Chand Thakur.
