Understanding the significance of Telugu voters in the up and coming Karnataka Assembly decisions, CM Siddaramaiah has astutely raised the issue of Special Category Status to rub salt on the injuries left by the rulling BJP. Siddaramiah in his letter to Telugu individuals living in Karnataka has discussed how BJP conned Telugu individuals by not satisfying the guarantees it had made on the floor of the house.

He even said how BJP is acting undemocratic by overlooking the guarantees it made in AP Reorganization Act and the vital guarantee of the Special Category Status made by then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the floor of the house.

Expressing gratitude toward the Telugu individuals for forcing confidence on him and choosing him in 2013, Siddaramaiah said he has attempted his best to satisfy their desires by giving great administration, serving them.

Looking for their help in the quick moving toward races, Siddaramaiah even asked all the Telugu voters in Karnataka to vote against BJP and influence them to lose the surveys. All through his letter, Siddaramiah discussed the shamefulness done to both the Telugu states after bifurcation. He even reviewed the long relationship between Telugu individuals and Kannada individuals and their well disposed bond. All in all, Siddaramaiah appears to have struck right harmonies of Telugu individuals by raising the issue of Special Category Status. It would appear that, Modi’s hurricane crusade may not yield much outcomes to BJP.
