In the middle of the protests, the government has revoked the order tightining the rules to withdraw money from the EPF accounts of the employees. The matter is kept in abeyance for three months. The employees have protested against the norms fixed by the government for withdrawing money from EPF.
In Bengaluru workers set ablaze a police station and public transport. Consequently the government has to cancell the notification about the tighter rules fixed by it .
Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya union minister for labour and employment in a press conference in Hyderabad said that “the notification issued on 10th February,2016 is cancelled. Now the old system will continue.”
