Lecturers teaching Maths,Physics, and Chemistry at private colleges get high salaries for better ranking of the students. Two well noted private colleges having IIT foundation courses pay Rs1to1.5 crores as annual pay.
The duty of these lecturers is to ensure that students should achieve ranks at state and National level entrance tests. In the next category the pay offer for a lecturer is in between Rs 20 to 50 lakhs per annum. The next is Rs 10 to 20 lakhs annual salary followed by Rs 3 to 6 lakhs. Unlike experience that counts in other jobs, the criteria is different in these colleges.
