After much consultations and discussions, the IPL matches in Visakhapatnam have been confirmed. Raising Pune super giants will play three matches in ACA-VDCA stadium at Visakhapatnam under the captaincy of Mr. Mahendhra Singh Dhoni. After Mumbai High Court judgement, the IPL matches should not be conducted after 30th April 2016 because of water scarecity.
In the process of shifting the matches to Visakhapatnam is selected for IPL matches. Mumbai Indians and Pune Super Giants expressed their willingness to play at Visakhapatnam Andhra cricket association has also expressed its willingness to conduct these matches.
The Pune team will play with Sunrisers on 10th May and on 17th May with Delhi Daredevils and with King XI Punjab on 21st May. Side CC cameras are being utilised for the first time in Visakhapatnam stadium.
