Mr. Karunanidhi has doubted whether the amount of Rs.570 crores belonged to SBI. Three containers were seized at Tirupur in Tamilnadu on Saturday. There are rumors that an interference of a Central minister in this matter.
The SBI has stated that the amount has related to SBI after 18 hours seizer of the amount. If it is a fact, why the amount is sent in three containers in night time. If the amount pertains to the SBI, why the persons in the cars escaped on seeing the police and election officials.
The containers have not been sealed by the SBI. No high official of the SBI has followed the containers. It is said that a Central has interfered in the matter forcing the bank to make a statement that the amount belonged to SBI.
