The retired M.P Mr. V. Hanumantha Rao from the Rajyasabha has wrongly stated “Late Sonia Gandhi ” instead of saying “Late Mrs. Indhira Gandhi” and later corrected himself and then read a written speech in Rajyasabha.
In his own words ” I have been a member of Rajyasabha since 2004 and served two terms, now my term comes to an end.. serving my people is a God given opportunity for me,. For this I specially thank my leader Late Smt. Sonia Gandhi … sorry Indhira Gandhi ….. Sri Rajiv Gandhi. He thanked the UPA government and Mrs. Sonia Gandhi for her initiative to make him an M.P.
