The minimum wage shall be Rs. 10,000 to the contract labour for which notification shall be issued very soon. Mr. Bandaru Dathathreya the central minister has stated that the central labour department has taken the decission to enhance the wage of the contract worker to Rs.10,000p.m.
The contract workers get their wages without loss of pay in holidays and security for working days.
The minister has also said that if the state government allots land to the Beedi, Ceni and other workers for the construction of the houses,the central government will extend its helping hand by sanctioning them necessary amount upto one lac fifty thousand.
