Mr. Raghuram Rajan the RBI Governor has refused to comment on his exension of his tenure. He has said that he has very cordial relations with Mr. Arun Jetley, finance Minister and desired to go back to the academia.
He has praised the PM for putting an end to the government interference in Public sector banks. Mr. Subranmania Swamy is a straunch opponent of Rajan to continue as the Governor of RBI.
