Many scholars said muslims should not use a brush and tooth paste to clean their mouths while fasting on Ramzan days. Islamic scholars has advised the muslims that they can use twigs instead of tooth paste and brush for cleaning their mouths during fasting days of Ramzan. Atta (perfumes) may be applied on clothes. perfumes containing alcohol should not be used.
Swallowing one’s own saliva does not make one invalidate the fast for the saliva is produced naturally in the body, but not the amounts of saliva is not permisable to nourish.
Hair oil can be applied n fasting days. It is also advisble to use surma in the eyes but not eyedrops or any other cosmotics. On fasting days muslims should not use eardrops too.
