PM Modi invited only Dil Raju from South Film Industry to #ChangeWithin

ChangeWithin is the new initiative hosted by Prime Minister at his residency, several Bollywood personalities which include actors and filmmakers from both films and TV have gathered. During the event, PM Modi also released four cultural videos marking the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. PM Modi posted some pictures on Twitter and wrote, “Our film and entertainment industry is diverse and vibrant. Its impact internationally is also immense. Our films, music and dance have become very good ways of connecting people as well as societies. Here are more pictures from the interaction today.” And in other post PM Modi wrote, “Spreading the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi through cinema, ensuring more youngsters are well-acquainted with the ideals of Gandhi Ji.Today’s interaction with leading film personalities and cultural icons was fruitful. We exchanged thoughts on a wide range of subjects”

Many Big Superstars from Bollywood attended the event including Rajkumar Hirani, Aamir Khan, Ekta Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Kangana Ranaut, Kapil Sharma, Soonam Kapoor and others. However only Dil Raju is invited to the event from South Film Industry. When the pictures released some of the people didn’t even believe and thought as them as morphed pictures. But when the photos posted online by PM Narendra Modi. It was confirmed that were real. Many people from south seemed upset over PM Modi’s invitation. South Indians couldn’t digest the fact that PM Narendra Modi couldn’t find the time to invite any of the Superstars down South to have a meaningful discussion.

However, Upasana Konidela wife of Ram Charan, who often raises her voice for what is right and always active in social media, raised her concern and took it to social media, tagging Narendra Modi she posted on her Twitter account, “Dearest @narendramodi ji. We in the South of INDIA admire you & are Proud to have you as our Prime Minister. With all due respect we felt that the representation of Leading personalities & cultural icons was limited only to Hindi Artists and the The South Film Industry was neglected. I express my feelings with pain & hope it’s taken in the right spirit. 🙏🏻 Jai Hind”
