The central meteorological department has predicted that 106% of rainfall occurs in this year all over the country.

This is a great news for farmers. The IMD director general Mr. Lakshman Singh Rathod informed that South western mosoon rains will fall all over the country but less than average rainfall will occur in Tamilnadu, Northeastern  and Eastsouthern regions. The agricultural scientist Mr. Swaminathan has advised the farmers to utilise this opppurtunity to produce more grains.
